Your use of these materials You are welcome to print out one copy of each of the files on this CD for your own educational research use, to the degree covered by the fair use provisions mentioned below, or as determined by the copyright holders of any materials provided on this CD. Please note however, that the World University of Leadership (and its associates) have spent many years developing these programs and researching and bringing together the very best materials from around the world to include in its programs. This CD, our web sites and any collection of materials we provide are therefore copyrighted materials which remain the intellectual property of the World University of Leadership or the original copyright holders of any materials contained within. Therefore you are not permitted to electronically copy these files, to distribute them in any way or form, or to use them for financial advantage. Our use of materials: This contents of this CD come from a number of sources. Some of the contents have been written ourselves, others have been specifically given to us to help the World University of Leadership achieve its vision of transforming leadership throughout the world in order to end poverty and violence; other contents have been approved for use by NGO's (Non-Profit organisations) which we are; and others have been reproduced from sources freely available in the public domain. In those circumstances where we have used sources that are freely available in the public domain, we have aimed to reproduce them in full (including any advertisements they may link to); without alteration. Often we have also taken pains to reproduce the copyright owner's URL so it is clearly visible in the file address so that anyone can easily delete the first few letters {such as "E:/1/"} and then press the ENTER button to bring up their site. In most cases we have also ensured that if users follow the links we have included, these will end up linking to the owner's site. In any circumstances where we have used information that is freely available in the public domain, all that we have done is to speed up the download time for people (particularly those in some African countries with very slow internet links) to access sites that are already freely available on the internet, by replicating them onto CD. We have also put in a great amount of work to bring the best materials to many of the world's leaders so that they can utilise the resources which will help them do the best job they can. In order to cover our costs (and to bring in a small amount of funds for our charitable works) we do charge for some services provided by the World University of Leadership, however we don't charge for the provision of intellectual property other than our own resources. (In fact, frequently we spend a lot of money to distribute our resources as widely as possible in order to support leaders in developing nations; and we are registered by the government and operate as a non-profit making organisation.) We believe that everything included in this CD constitutes a 'fair use' of any such copyrighted material as provided for in section 107 of the US Copyright Law. In accordance with Title 17 U.S.C. Section 107, the material on this site is distributed without profit to students to use for research and educational purposes. (And in a large percentage of cases the materials are provided to leaders in developing countries who otherwise would be very unlikely to purchase the materials.)
